"For too many residents, it feels like the basics are no longer being treated like they matter. Potholes go unfixed. Meetings go unattended. Services get cut. That has to change — and it starts with who we elect to represent us."
Christopher M. Bellingham is running for the Deltona City Commission seat representing District 5, one of five commission districts that make up the City of Deltona, Florida. City commissioners represent their district's residents on decisions covering local infrastructure, parks and public spaces, the city budget, and day-to-day municipal government — the issues that show up on your street, at your park, and in your city services.
Chris is a Deltona resident, a combat medic veteran, and a public affairs doctoral researcher running on a simple platform: fix the basics and rebuild civic pride. That means well-maintained roads and infrastructure, investment in parks and community spaces, disciplined fiscal stewardship of public dollars, and a transparent, accountable city commission that shows up for District 5 residents.
